Goodyear-Welt stitching is a stitching of exceptional quality and perfect fit. In this traditional construction, a solid double seam joins the full-grain leather upper of the shoe, called the upper, the SOFT- AIR midsole and a strip of leather called the welt to the sole of the shoe.
This combination of SOFT-AIR technology and Goodyear-Welt construction is exclusive to MEPHISTO.
The Norwegian stitching combines robustness and elegance. The upper of the shoe and the SOFT-AIR midsole are joined to the outsole by double stitching on a welt.
This construction guarantees waterproofing, resistance and durability.
