The Rainbow is one of the most uniquely interesting shoe designs of the 20th century, and one of the comfiest to boot. It’s a miracle we didn’t work with them sooner –in the words of head-honcho Nigel: “I noticed that the stitching lines on the Rainbow sort-of looked like a Rainbow, and considering our coloursare a rainbow, which is an homage to the Rainbow People of Arizona who I lived with for a bit in the 90s, it just seemed like a natural thing to do. We wanted the coloursto be subtle –and the grey of the body of the shoe is a reference to the background on our website. After plenty of tinkering, it all came together perfectly”.
