For this first collaboration with Mephisto, BEAMS turns its attention to an icon: the Match. The Japanese specialty store, a reference in style since 1976 and no stranger to some of the sharpest collaborations in contemporary fashion, brings its perspective to one of Mephisto's most emblematic silhouettes. At the heart of the collaboration: a new version of the Match lined in Mephi-tex, a first for the model. This technical evolution brings an all-terrain, all-season dimension to Mephisto's signature sneaker, staying true to the comfort and durability the brand has built its reputation on since 1965. Alongside it, a limited special edition draws on BEAMS' own visual language: the crazy pattern, a patchwork of materials and tones assembled with playful precision, already seen on collaborations with Arc'teryx, C.P. Company and others... Applied to the Match, this treatment turns a quiet, timeless silhouette into a statement piece — without ever losing sight of its artisanal roots.
